once again ive reached one of those points in life where you set aside everything youre doing, interrupt your routines and simply stand back and watch it all happen. last weekend i started complaining to myself (and maybe a little bit to my roommate) about being bored and how davis lacks entertainment. ive realized theres really no need to rush into anything and that sometimes what appears to be the quickest, most satisfying solution can lead to something i could just as easily regret. every once in awhile ill think about that message better luck tomorrow drives of how we all need to do things to break the mundane cycles of life. spontaneous, irrational decisions are too tempting. i figure if i can preserve a balance between academia and happiness (just by keeping myself busy), that there will be no need to jump into hasty decisions. and it begins by listening to peter's suggestion and reading norwegian wood.

talked to theo yesterday. yes he is our neighbor. apartment #291. scoped out each others apartments and we conversed for about a few hours. the most memorable quote i can remember from yesterday's conversation was "its enough room to fit two of you, or maybe... even two of me, and definitely two asian girls."

he got a new truck.

its always nice to see that some people never change. i look forward to taking online stats with him. i think :D
