nothing was here.

seeing the sunrise during the summer is....not fun.

been doing a lot of thinking lately...
should i second chance it with girl i gave cold vibes to spring quarter? or perhaps befriend her at the least?

(that is what long term internet surfing does- you discover random people's blogs you know). being stuck in summer limbo seriously bites. when you have nothing to look forward to, it just makes everything youre currently doing seem like the biggest waste. fortunately, after an interesting chat with my future roommates tonite, i realized that im really going to be looking forward to with whom im sharing my apartment with in a few weeks.

peter pointed out my fascination with racing. damn initial d. im not a racing fanatic, but ever since i watched that anime i gained an interest in cars in general. dont expect me to be some idiotic AzN interested in modding a stupid honda. i appreciate everything, from toyotas to mini coopers to bmws. everything except civics and accords. fresno has a disgusting amount of those and they are an eyesore. the worst are those civic EXs with the H symbol replaced in the back with an acura symbol. acura=luxury honda, not cheapass honda. and owing a civic doesnt put you on a racing team.

i is rambling :X

my parents owe me now...big time.

friday my aunt, who resides in the attractive and cultured city of vallejo, calls my mom notifying her of some 20% student discount sale at ikea and an additional $50 discount for $250 spent. the deal supposedly ends september 1st, and so my parents suggest we make a field trip to emeryville and back on sunday to fetch my furniture. honestly, i have no problem with saving money and earning discounts and whatnot.

departure time from fresno:545am. we arrive at my aunts townhouse at 9, go to church at 930, mass ends and its 11. i figure, heyyyyy i can make it to badminton easily if we go straight there. DENIED. for some reason we go grocery shopping at random seafood market until 1245. my dads usually cranky if hes hungry, and so we eat. unfortunately my dads also cranky if hes sleepy, so he sleeps. the frustration ensues and its 2pm. wtf. i wanted to leave ikea at 2pm. after wasting random time we finally arrive at 3pm. the experience at the store itself was a mixed bag. amidst the million people cranked in a warehouse there were actually quite a noticable number of attractive women-- shopping with their fiancees/boyfriends. (lotta hot pinays too). downstairs we find my loft, only to discover that they had to restock some parts. approximate additional wait: 45 minutes. approximate additional annoyance: beyond comprehension. finally its 5pm and we wait at the checkout. my mom inquires about the $50 discount and the cashier says you must print the coupon from the website. i only become moderately annoyed because i figured the trip yielded consumer surplus with the student discount. after presenting my student id the cashier asks for my credit card-- the same credit card my parents refuse to let me have. oy: the producer surplus. at that point im ready to throw my cart at the bakery right outside the exit. the only thing we end up purchasing is one of the "as-is" desks thats preassembled. merely thinking about how to get that desk into the room in a few weeks is agonizing.

more filipino random time wastage occurs and we leave at 8. IM SUPPOSED TO BE PLAYING BADMINTON AT THIS TIME. i was angry for quite awhile. but at least the bomberman with the guys changed my mood. its a good thing thats what bomberman does.
